Project Overview- Hosted and produced an annual Friends and Family Pig Roast for 13 years, growing from a backyard gathering to a 300+ guest community event, all of it happening in our yard.

Designed all invitations, signage, and event materials each year. Coordinated food, vendors, volunteer staff, and entertainment including a neighbor’s band that grew in talent and following over the years.

Highlights included a fourth-grade class band performing live and the year their homeroom teacher showed up. The event became increasingly polished and better run through observation, feedback, and iteration. A community built from scratch, one invitation at a time.
